Tiffany Ferlmann

With a background in dance and softball, working in a Nautilus rehabilitation clinic and chiropractic office, and rearing three athletic children, it might seem an obvious choice that Tiffany would own and coach a CrossFit gym. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. She truly reveled in motherhood. Between responsibilities as the team mom, volunteering for several charities, and helping her husband, she lost sight of her own fitness.

That’s when a cousin introduced Tiffany to CrossFit. She will tell you that when they put a barbell in her hands and she did her first deadlift, she had never felt so empowered. It was a defining moment. It led her to achieve her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate.

Having grown up in natural health care, Tiffany believes in the words of Dr. Daniel Palmer, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.”

Will “Coach B” Becvar

William Becvar (“Coach B”) started personal training in 2002, and has since acquired diverse training experience; including working in private studios, big box gyms, corporate wellness, and sports ministry. After a sports-related injury in 2012, “Coach B” began to focus more on mobility and functional fitness, earning his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate and coaching in the Clermont area. In 2015, “Coach B” began a role as head coach, leading all of our CrossFit coaches. Wanting to provide more to the CrossFit community, in 2017 he earned his CrossFit Level 2 Trainer certificate at the Ranch in Aromas, California.

“Coach B” believes that your workout at Crossfit Iron Shamrock should be the best hour of your day, “When we can accomplish that, you will keep showing up, and when you keep showing up, that’s when fitness happens.”

Abigail Burnard; ?>

Abigail Burnard

Abby is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer who has always had a love for fitness and teaching others. She has grown up an athlete, excelling in Golf, Track & Field, and Basketball, while competing in numerous State Finals.

Having grown up playing sports, Abby knows what it is like to live a healthy (and fun) lifestyle. In 2014 her mother, Tiffany Ferlmann, introduced her to CrossFit, and soon after became one of our CrossFit coaches. She loves the sport of fitness which is forever changing and new.

Abby has had some serious injuries between her years in sports and from a motor vehicle accident. She knows what it’s like to have to sit out, be patient, and start over. Her injuries spurred her interest to learn more about the body and what it is capable of, injured andor healthy. It’s her goal to help those who want to be better than who they were the day before and to always grow.

Sutton Burnard; ?>

Sutton Burnard

Coach Sutton grew up with an active lifestyle. He was involved in numerous sports, and also enjoyed hiking, camping, and fishing. He excelled in Track and Field and Football. He looked forward to playing football in college until an injury during his senior season took that away from him.

A few years later, in 2012, Coach Sutton found CrossFit and felt at home. He quickly became a coach at a gym in California, but life brought him to Winter Garden, Florida, where he began coaching at Crossfit Iron Shamrock. Here he met his beautiful wife, who happens to be another coach at Iron Shamrock. They are happy to have been able to coach together over the past two years.

Coach Sutton recently earned his Level 2 certificate. He loves how the sport of fitness is constantly changing and growing, and it excites him to be able to continue to expand his knowledge and share with the Crossfit Iron Shamrock community.

Karina Damiani; ?>

Karina Damiani

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, fitness wasn’t always a passion for Karina Damiani. In fact, as a teenager, she struggled with her weight and had a low self-image. It wasn’t until she had a knee injury when she decided to make fitness a priority in her life.

After moving to the US in 2013, she started working out at conventional gyms and running, but it wasn’t until she found Crossfit that she truly found her path. After a few years of dedicating herself to Crossfit, she decided it was time to make a commitment, and take her Crossfit Level 1 Trainer course, allowing her to help the community that means so much to her. In addition to Crossfit Level 1, Karina also earned her AA in Sport and Exercise at Seminole State College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Central Florida. She is also constantly developing her skills through courses such as CrossFit Scaling Course, CrossFit Lesson Planning Course, CrossFit Spot the Flaw Course and Nutritional Coaching Institute Level 1 – NCI.

“Coach K” is definitely not your normal coach with an athletic background. Her passion for helping others become their best selves shines through as she pushes clients to venture out of their comfort zone.

Jonathan “Dr. J” Rasmussen; ?>

Jonathan “Dr. J” Rasmussen

Dr. J (he’s not that kind of doctor) is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, who has a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals. As a father, husband, and public-school principal, he understands the importance of fitness in maintaining balance and health in a busy, stressful life.

As a teenager in Colorado, Dr. J maintained an active lifestyle, mountain biking, and snowboarding. Following high school, he joined the US Navy, where he was a nuclear electrician on submarines, and continued to stay active when not at sea. Soon, though, life caught up with him and he found it more difficult to stay active as his family grew, and as he began attending college and working full time. Eventually, he reprioritized fitness and health in his life and began regularly working out at a large, chain gym.  Before long, the monotony of the chain gym prompted Dr. J to search for a way to stay fit and motivated – that’s when he found CrossFit.

An educator at heart, Dr. J enjoys assisting people to achieve their fitness goals.  As a “mature” CrossFit athlete himself, he understands the importance of listening to your body and scaling workouts to your current level. He meets everyone at their fitness and activity level and helps them achieve success in reaching their fitness goals.
